Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna — an avatar of Lord Vishnu — at midnight. The temple observes special rituals including the Kaliyadalan (Krishna subduing the serpent Kaliya) and Pralambasura Badha (defeating the demon Pralambasura). Devotees fast through the day, participate in continuous bhajan and kirtan, and celebrate the midnight birth with conch shells, bells, and prasad distribution.
